On July 4th we will have our annual Pig Pickin’ at the Beach Pavilion. BBQ pork and a variety of sides will be provided. If you want to bring a dessert, they are more than welcome. Add lots of icing or whipped cream. We are asking for donations for your meal. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards the bulkhead project. Food will be served at 6:00 pm. Later that night there will be a fireworks display. Donations for fireworks should go to Jamie and Luke Potter.
In recent weeks there has been an increase of reports of non- property owners using the CBIC beach area. The July 4th weekend is approaching, expectations for a very large number of property owners and guests will create parking and traffic issues near the beach. Please be mindful of children playing.
This is a reminder that vehicles using the beach access and parking areas are required to display the appropriate beach area tag in accordance with CBIC guidelines. Please do not be offended if you are asked to present your beach permit. Those people that are asking are simply trying to make your beach area safer and more enjoyable.
Please take a moment to ensure your tag is properly displayed whenever your vehicle or in your guest’s vehicle, if it is parked in designated beach areas. This helps maintain compliance with community rules and ensures parking remains available for authorized residents and guests only.
If you need information about obtaining or replacing a tag, please contact any CIBC board member.
